Tom Hanusik

Thomas Hanusik of Pelham, New York & Cape Coral, Florida;passed away on January 3, 2026. He was 76 years old. Born in Yonkers, NY to Thomas and Anne Hanusik, Tom was one of 2 children. Tom graduated from Lincoln High School, Yonkers, NY. He would later meet his wife Barbara at Pace University. The couple would marry and move to Pelham where they raised their three children John, Kristin and Jennifer.

Tom worked for the Village of Pelham for 25 years. He had a strong work ethic, loved his job, and all the people he worked with through the years. Tom always made sure family came first and always enjoyed spending times surrounded by family and friends.

Tom will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and wonderful friend. He will be dearly missed;however, his family finds comfort in the many treasured memories he leaves behind.

Tom is survived by his wife Barbara his son John Hanusik(Serena) of Redding, CT; his daughter Kristin Gervais (David)of Orange, CT; and his daughter Jennifer Catalli (Andrew) of Mount Kisco, NY. He will be missed by his three grandsons William Gervais (10), Henry Hanusik (8) and Andrew Catalli III(6). He is predeceased by his sister Pat Stans of Albuquerque, NM and his parents.
