Thomas Phelps

Thomas Phelps of Mount Vernon, New York, passed away on August 19, 2025. He was 78 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY to James and Chritina Phelps, Tom was one of 3 children.

Tom worked as a transit supervisor in the Bronx, NY. He had a strong work ethic and loved his job. Tom always made sure family came first and always enjoyed spending time surrounded by family and friends.

Tom will be remembered as a beloved son, brother, relative and wonderful friend. He will be dearly missed; however, his family finds comfort in the many treasured memories he leaves behind.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Tom’s life.
