Sieglinde Karpf

Sieglinde Karpf of New Rochelle, New York, passed away on March 14, 2023. She was 84 years old. Born in Lindenbach, Germany to Helmut and Elsbeth Hoehmann, Sieglinde was one of 4 children. Sieglinde graduated from the Red Cross Nursing School in Hamburg Germany. She would later meet her Husband Michael Karpf. The couple would marry and move to New Rochelle where they raised their two children Andreas and Peter.

Sielginde worked as a Nurse at Lawrence Hospital. She had a strong work ethic and loved her job. Sieglinde always made sure family came first and always enjoyed spending times surrounded by family and friends. 

Sieglinde will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, relative and wonderful friend. She will be dearly missed, however her family finds comfort in the many treasured memories she leaves behind.

Sieglinde is survived by her husband Michael, her sons Andreas and Peter. She will be missed by her grandchildren Michael, Daniel and Andrew. She will also be missed by her sister Anita Hoemann, Wilma Kaufmann, and brother Siegfried Langer.

A celebration of Sieglinde’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham NY on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 4-8pm. Interment will take place at 10:30am on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Kensico Cemetery located at 273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY.

Please note that the Karpf family is requesting all attending to KINDLY WEAR A MASK in consideration of an autoimmune-compromised family member.
