Shantii Quinones

Shantii Quinones of Bronx NY, passed away on August 26, 2026. She was 39 years old.

Shantii was born in the Bronx NY, to Manuel Quinones and Evelyn Rivera . She was one of 5 children. Shantii graduated from Evander High School. She would later meet her boyfriend and have her daughter Aniyah Lee Marin. Shantii was a dancer, artist , and hairstylist. She danced with her group at the APOLLO. She worked in every barbershop from University Ave , Nelson Ave and burnside Ave . Her last barbershop she worked doing hair was LA ROKA BARBERSHOP where her tragic accident happened. Shantii had a strong work ethic and loved her job. She always made sure family came first and always enjoyed spending time surrounded by family and friends.

 Shantii was a spiritual woman and spread love and positivity always . Shantii always gave good advice to her family and clients . In 5 words we can say she was talented, loving, spiritual, charismatic, and silly. Shantii will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, relative and wonderful friend.

 She will be dearly missed by her daughter Aniyah, her son in law, Cordell, her grandson JOSIAH, her mom, Evelyn, her dad, Manuel, her mother in law, Carol, her sister, Michelle, Ole, Ashley, Jennifer , Aliayah, Luis and Amir, her nieces and nephews Alex, Ammarie, Lilly, and Mason.  her cousins Aisha ,Khalif ,Elijah ,Khadi ,Amiah, Mary, Niada, Tamitha, and Tommy. As well as her handsome godson Prince Edward .

A celebration of Shantii Quinones life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham NY on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, between the hours of 4:00 pm and 8:00pm. Burial will take place at Rosehill Cemetery located at 792 Edgar Rd, Linden NJ 07036 on Thursday ,September 10, 2026.
