Rosemary Coughlin Strobel of Pelham Manor, New York, passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2024, at the age of 83. Born to John and Helena Coughlin, Rosemary hailed from the Bronx. She graduated from St. Helena’s High School in 1958 and then attended St. John’s University. That was when she would meet the love of her life, Herb Strobel. They exchanged vows in 1961 at Holy Family Church in the Bronx.
Rosemary and Herb established loving homes in Richmond, Virginia, and Cherry Hill, New Jersey, before settling in Pelham, New York, in 1977.
Devoted to her roles as daughter, mother, grandmother, and aunt, Rosemary's resilience and unwavering faith were the cornerstones of her life. She will be fondly remembered as a loving, devoted, and faithful individual, known for her hard work and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.
Rosemary is now reunited with her beloved husband, Herb. She is survived by her son, Andrew (Jean) Strobel, and daughter, Jeanmarie (Glenn) Ward, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Timothy and Cameron Ward.
A Funeral Celebration honoring Rosemary's life will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, located at 575 Fowler Ave, Pelham Manor, New York, on Wednesday, May 15th, at 11:00 AM.
