Rose Sicuranza

Rose L. Sicuranza, 95, of Pelham, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February, 16, 2021, at Bethel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.
Born on January, 22, 1926, she was the youngest of two daughters of Lucy and Savino (Sam) Marrano. She was raised in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., and graduated from A.B. Davis High School, class of 1944.
On December 5, 1948, she married Joseph Sicuranza of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Mt. Vernon, N.Y. They lived in Pelham, N.Y., for many years, raising their family.
Rose is predeceased by her husband, Joseph. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Donna Sicuranza of Pelham, N.Y. Her grandchildren, Alexandra Sicuranza and Michael Sicuranza. Her daughter and son-in-law, Lucy and Andy Bozzone of Palm Coast, FL. Her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Hank Gregorek of Montrose, N.Y.
She lived for her family and she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Rose was a tough cookie. A pushover is not how I'd describe her. Though the simple pleasures in life brought her great joy, like spending time in the kitchen cooking delicious meals for her family.
I learned some incredible lessons from her about patience, strength and respect.
She will continue to live in my thoughts and heart. That is her legacy.
Rest in peace Mom. I always have, and will always love you.

A Celebration of Rose's life will be on Thursday February 25, 2021, from 9AM-10:30AM at the Pelham Funeral Home 64 Lincoln Ave. Pelham, NY 10803.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Thursday February 25, 2021 at St. Catharine's Church , Pelham, NY with a Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY
