Rosamond Ross Knowlton

Rosamond Ross Knowlton of New Rochelle, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 13th. "Roz" was born on September 8, 1932, and raised in Madison, Wisconsin before moving to Mamaroneck, NY. Her kindness, compassion, wit, and humor will be missed by her family and several close friends. Roz was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Jessie Ross, her brothers, Hugh and Frank, and her son, Matthew. She is survived by children Eben, Alexander, and Margaret, grandchildren Eben, Elizabeth, Emily, Jessica, and Eric, and her brother Gilbert Ross. Roz loved many things; opera, literature, art, and the outdoors. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Marshlands Conservancy in Rye, NY. A memorial service will be held this Saturday at Community Church of the Pelhams, 448 Washington Avenue, at 4:30 PM.
