Richard Schroeder

Henry R. Schroeder, age 82, of Pelham, New York, passed away on June 1, 2026. Born in the Bronx, Hank was a lifelong resident of Pelham. He was a proud Navy Veteran and worked for years as a milkman. Beyond his work, Hank was happiest building and maintaining his homes in Pelham. His friends and neighbors will dearly miss his generous gifts of apples, venison, and bottled water, as well as his endless bragging about his grandchildren.

Hank is survived by his children, Henry Paul Schroeder and Bonnie Schroeder McGuire, and his grandchildren, Andrew, Samuel, and Abigail McGuire. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace.

A wake will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pelham Funeral Home, located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham NY 10803. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
