Pauline Doreen Williamson of Mount Vernon New York passed away on January 12th 2026. She was 73 years old. Born in Kingston Jamaica to Stanley Whittaker and Cynthia Cousins, Pauline was the middle of five children. Pauline was raised in Jamaica where she attended Excelsior High School. After high school Pauline worked as a seamstress at a garment factory in Kingston Jamaica. She also worked at daycare centers for children and was also a home health aide.

Pauline would meet her husband Lyndon Williamson in Kingston Jamaica and would marry in 1975. The couple would raise her 4 children in a loving home. In her free time Pauline loved to sew. She sewed clothes, curtains and cloth bags.

In 2008 Pauline’s husband passed and she would immigrate to Mount Vernon, New York in 2014. She loved spending time with her 4 children, her seven grandchildren and her one great-great grand-child.

Pauline will be remembered as a reserved and private. She was genuine, kind and loving. She was very hardworking and was always there for her family. She was funny and witty. She loved making her children laugh and gave them great encouragement in life. She was very down to earth.

Pauline is survived by her children; Karen Cousins, Anthony Wilson, Laurece Williamson  and Marsha Williamson. She will be missed by her seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
