Pasquale J. Polese of Mt.Vernon, NY passed away peacefully on 1/23/2012 at the age of 84.

He was born on 7/19/1927 in Mt. Vernon, son of the late Albert and Jennie (Vicino) Polese. Pasquale served with the U.S. Army. He was a Union Local 137A Operating Engineer.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Josephine of 61 years; his daughter, Joann, his 4 grandchildren, great-granddaughter, his sister, Frances, his brother, Joseph, and loving family and friends. He is predeceased by his son, Pat Jr.

Friends and family may call at Pelham Funeral Home, on Friday,1/27/2012 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 10S. 10th Ave. in Mt. Vernon on Saturday, 1/28/2012 at 10am, follow by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY
