Nina Fellerman died peacefully on June 25, 2019 in Yonkers, New York where she had lived for the last 56 years. She was one month shy of her 92nd birthday.
Born near Smolensk , Russia she miraculously lived through WWII and met her future husband Lt. Col. Kenneth Fellerman, in Frankfurt, Germany at the Army Officer's Club.They were married in Regensburg, Germany at the First Army Headquarters. Together they raised five children who are all surviving; Natasha Hubshman(Bronxville,NY)Kenneth Fellerman(North Salem,NY)Donald Fellerman(Yonkers , NY)Stephanie Fisher(Asbury Park, NJ) and Stephen Fellerman(Brooklyn,NY)There are her loved grandchildren, Alexis Hubshman, Jesse fellerman, Todd Fellerman, Julian Fellerman, Kaitee Fellerman and Sophie Fisher. Twin great grandson's, Grayson and Ramsey Fellerman.
Nina loved her many dogs, black -eyed susans, traveled the world, loved to dance. We miss her incredibly much and, we will love her with our memories of her great laugh, good cooking and comfort and storytelling. Her faith and spirituality were her foundation along with her family and friends.
A memorial service at Ferncliff,Hartsdale, NewYork will be scheduled in late September.
