Nicholas Leighton Ferguson

Nicholas Leighton Ferguson passed away on November 20, 2025. 

Born in St. Catherine, Jamaica, Nicholas was the beloved son of Aaron Ferguson and Nadine Lee. He was raised by his stepfather John Lee from the age of 1. He was the oldest to his younger siblings and held the honored role of being the best big brother for his sisters— a bond he cherished deeply. 

Growing up Nicholas found joy in life’s simple pleasures and held a deep love for music, gaming and sports. These passions brought him comfort, laughter and countless memories with the people he cared about. After graduating high school, Nicholas earned a football scholarship to Mount Ida College, where he went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in business administration. Following his studies, he spent many years as a business manager with Sodexo before pursuing his passion for technology and launching his own computer science company.

 A true computer whiz, Nicholas designed his own software programs, fixing all kinds of electronics, developed online storage for memorable keepsakes and built desktop computers from the ground up. His natural talent, curiosity, and dedication set him apart in everything he pursed.

 Nicholas will be remembered for his calm personality, his willingness to help others, and his gracious and generous spirit. His absence leaves a tremendous void, but his spirit, his kindness, and that unforgettable smile will live on in all who loved him. 

He is survived by his mother, Nadine; his father John; his sisters, Nadia, Annika, Nesha and Latoya; his grandparents Alma and Cupid; his uncle’s Boydy and Tony; his aunts; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
