Naim H. Zihenni

Naim H. Zihenni of Toula-Batroun, Lebanon, passed away in NYC on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. He was one month shy of his 95th birthday. He is survived by his six children: Marie Rose, Louisa (Nabil Hallak), Haleem (Eugene Haddad), Helen, Antoine (Rita Elojail), Albert (Emilie Simionato). He will be missed by his nine grandchildren: Amanda, Andrew, Ryan, Anthony, Alexander, Anabel, Alicia, Andrea and Violette. He is pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Violette, his sister, Souraya, and his brother, Albert.

Naim will be remembered as a fearless leader. He embraced life and had the love and respect of everyone who knew him. His words of wisdom resonated with many. He was a pillar in his community.

A celebration of Naim’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, New York, on Wednesday, July 5th, from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at Saint John Paul II at the Immaculate Conception Maronite Church located at 199 North Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, New York, on Thursday, July 6th, at 10:00 am. Naim will be repatriated to his hometown, Toula-Batroun, Lebanon, to be interred with his wife, Violette, in the family Cemetery at Saint Abda Church.
