Muriel Diane Coleman

Muriel Diane Coleman, a beloved Daughter, Mother and Friend, peacefully passed away on July 5th 2023 at the age of 72. Born in Manhattan, New York to 
Emma Shelton and Artumus Leonard Coleman, she was their only adored and cherished child. 

Muriel received her education at New Rochelle High School, where she displayed her natural curiosity and love for learning and also became a member of a few social clubs which included the High School “Twirlers”.

After graduating she embarked on a journey of love and companionship when she met Miguel Vialva. Together they formed a beautiful bond and we’re blessed with three Wonderful children who were the light of their life. Teneka , Emil and Tenesha.

Muriel worked in retail and in the home health aide field in the city of New Rochelle. Muriel’s generosity, infectious smile, warm personality, bubbly spirit will be missed; however her family find comfort in the many treasured memories she leaves behind.

Muriel Diane Coleman is  survived by her daughter Teneka Michelle Vialva Johnson, her son Emil Etano Vialva and her baby girl Tenesha Monet Janie Vialva. Her Son in Laws Rashann Johnson and Eric Dunham She will be missed by her grandchildren Jaheed Chip Artumus Johnson, Keira Ayana Vialva, Nasir Letrell Dunham, Kwaleek Alonzo Rashann Johnson, Emily Eve Vialva and Jayden Christopher Dunham. Great grandchildren Kali Jane Johnson and Josiah Artumus Johnson. Her godchildren Sean Seegars and Victor George Gordon. She will also be missed by her cousins, friends, family and church family. She is predeceased by her Mother Emma Shelton and father Artumus Leonard Coleman.
