Katherine Ann Sansone

Katherine Hickey Sansone entered eternal peace on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 11:11am. She was 79 years old. Born 1942 in the Bronx, NY, Kate resided in Delray Beach, FL after raising her family in Eastchester, NY. Kate will always be remembered for her radiant love of her grandchildren, cherished friends, and family. Kate was not only exquisitely beautiful inside and out, she was incredibly fashionable, always impeccably dressed from head to toe. Her brilliant smile, poise, grace, and twinkle in her eye could light up any room. She thrived for many years with a retail sales career in New York. She was especially passionate about travel, card games, reading, and animals. Kate is survived by her husband, Gaetano; son, Guy (Kerry) of Kiawah Island, SC; son, Richard (Alison) of Westport, CT; beloved grandchildren: Taylor, Alexander, Madison, Corwin, Elaine and Julia; sister-in-law, Phyllis Gutmann of Bronxville, NY, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, William Hickey; mother, Catherine Duffy Hickey; brothers, William M. Hickey and Thomas Hamill and sister, Eileen Waters.

A funeral mass will be held 10:00 am Wednesday January 19, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 559 Pelham Manor Rd, Pelham NY 10803 with Father Michael Greco officiating.
