Judith Zallo, a longtime resident of Pelham, New York, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025. She was 75 years old.
Born in Manhattan to Stephen and Dorothy Medovich, Judith was one of four children. She grew up in East Irvington, New York, where she attended the Irvington School System. After graduating high school, she went on to earn her degree from the L.I.M. Institute of Fashion in Manhattan.
While attending L.I.M., Judith met the love of her life, John Zallo. Their paths crossed at Saks Fifth Avenue in White Plains, where John worked as a valet attendant. Their connection grew quickly, and they married at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown.
The couple first lived in New Rochelle before settling in Pelham in 1970. Together, they built a loving home and were blessed with three children: Kristen, David, and Kimberly.
Judith dedicated herself to raising her children and was deeply involved in every aspect of their lives. In her free time, she enjoyed days at the beach, watching Jeopardy! and other favorite television programs, and spending time with her family.
Judith will be remembered for her warmth, devotion to her family, and the joy she brought to those around her.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John; her children Kristen Zallo, David (Dayna) Zallo, and Kimberly Zallo; and her cherished grandchildren Jordan, AJ, and Bianca. Judith will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
