John Anthony Cassone died on Wednesday, January 28th, at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. He was born on January 18, 1965, at New Rochelle Hospital to his parents
John R. and Evelyn Cassone.
John was raised in Pelham and attended Hutch grammar school and graduated from Pelham Memorial High School. He attended Iona College, where he majored in accounting. After leaving college, he started his own Accounting Practice at his home in Pelham. After closing his business, he moved to NYC and worked for various companies as Comptroller/CFO. He returned to Pelham due to illness and lived his remaining years at home.
John loved being with friends and their children, going out to dinner and watching TV. He loved traveling and visited such places as Italy, Cancun and other places. He was involved, behind the scenes, in Community Theater at various locations.
John is survived by his Mother, Father, many cousins and friends. He will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1st, from 1 - 6 PM at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 2nd, 10 AM at St. Catharine's Church located at 25 Second Ave, Pelham, NY.
Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Chester, NY.
