James "Jamie" Wilson Paul Jr. of Pelham, NY passed away from COVID on February 2, 2021. He was a devoted and loving husband, and father of three children. He was 81 years old.
He was born on February 25, 1939 in Mount Vernon, NY to James and Frances Paul Sr. On June 6, 1964 he married the love of his life, Caroline Rodgers Paul.
He received his degree of Bachelor of Science in Printing Management from Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pennsylvania in 1962. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years.
James worked for Doubleday Random House for 37 years. And after he retired, he worked for Klein Pharmacy in Pelham, about 15 years.
James is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Caroline Rodgers Paul; along with three sons, Jim and wife, Marissa, Scott and wife Kim, John and wife, Paola; He was the adored grandfather to Kyla and Brelynn; sister, Tina Paul; and loving nephews and relatives.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James W Paul Sr.and Frances Paul; brother Christopher Paul (survived by wife Ginger).
James loved dancing, talking to people, and spent summer vacations at Cape Cod with family, where he met some of his closest friends.
A memorial service will be delayed until people can safely assemble. The family will notify relatives and friends when service is scheduled.
