Jadranka Mrdelja

Jadranka Mrdelja, age 57, passed away on Friday, September 27th, 2019. She was born on February 7th 1962, in Poljica, Croatia to Lucija and Mirko Marinkovic. After immigrating to America at a young age, Jadranka settled in New Rochelle, NY, where she married Josip Mrdelja and raised three loving children, Adriana, Tanja and Joseph. She is also survived by her sister Mladenka, brothers Marinko and Damir and granddaughter Julia, along with many nieces and nephews. While being cherished as a mother, wife, grandmother and sister, she was also known to many as "Teti," a Croatian term for aunt, because of her constant generosity and willingness to accommodate the needs of many relatives beyond the immediate family. Jadranka was a hardworking woman who enjoyed being surrounded by family, listening and dancing to music, working in her garden, cooking, baking and caring for her loved ones. Simply by listening to her speak, you would be able to see the bold and energetic but nurturing qualities that many will forever remember Jadranka by long after her passing.
