Isabel Eva Bartlett

Isabel D. Bartlett died on September 15th, 2015, she was 97 years old.
Isabel was born on Christmas Eve to Anthony and Grace Denerich in Hartford, CT. Isabel graduated from Buckley High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society, she went on to secretarial school before entering the work force. During World War II Isabel met her husband, Harry A. Bartlett Jr., at a dance in Hartford; they married in 1944. Eventually the couple moved to Pelham, NY where they raised four children: Barbara, Harry III, Paul and June. Isabel lived in her home in Pelham for over 60 years.

Isabel loved working and being a homemaker. She was a smart, caring woman who devoted time outside the home with community organizations like the Manor Club of Pelham and The Bartow-Pell Conservancy.

A devoted wife to her late husband Harry she was also a loving mother to her son Paul who pre-deceased her.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara of Pelham, NY, son, Harry III of Norwalk, CT, and daughter June Bartlett Fisher of Bayville, NY. She will be greatly missed by her two grandchildren Harry IV and Abigail Agathos, and three great-grandchildren as well as her two step-granddaughters.

A Celebration of Isabel's life will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Avenue from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, September 18th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 19th at the St. Catharine's Church, 25 Second Avenue, Pelham, NY.

Interment will follow at Christ Church in Pelham. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
