Elizabeth Anne Egan

Elizabeth Anne Egan passed away on November 11, 2025. She was 52 years old.

Born in Syosset, New York, Elizabeth was the cherished daughter of Phyllis and the late, John Egan. She graduated from Thornton Donovan High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the College of New Rochelle.

Elizabeth had a natural gift for caring for others. She volunteered at a nursing home in New Rochelle, where she was known for her kindness, gentleness, and compassion. Her heart extended equally to animals—she was an avid animal lover who rescued and cared for many pets throughout her life.

Elizabeth enjoyed following current politics and loved listening to music, her taste was eclectic with her favorite singer being Billy Joel. She was also an avid traveler who embraced the beauty of the world; Europe held a special place in her heart.

Elizabeth is survived by her devoted mother, Phyllis, her 2 cats, Mittens and Squeak, her aunts, uncles, cousins and her longtime love, Tom. She will be remembered for her warm spirit, generous heart, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
