Eileen Wuttke

Eileen Patricia Wuttke, 85 of Mt Vernon NY, peacefully passed away on Monday March 7, 2022 at New Rochelle Hospital after a recent illness. She passed into the next life with son Peter, and loved niece Sharon by her side.

Eileen (Williams) was born on October 3, 1936 in Dalkey,County Dublin, Ireland. As a pretty and spunky young woman, she briefly moved to London, before moving permanently to the USA in 1955.  She eventually became a US Citizen which she was very proud of. She met and married Manfred Wuttke (1962) and they were longtime residents of New Rochelle (Park Place,) where they raised their 3 sons. She was also a long-time member of the Covenant Church on Mayflower Ave in New Rochelle. In 2000, her and husband Manfred, moved to Vernon Manor in Mt Vernon.  Where they happily lived out the rest of their years.

Known for her wit, patriotism (although always an Irish girl at heart,) and strong opinions she loved her entertainment!  You could always find her sipping her hot tea (Liptonsonly please,) and watching British Mystery Thrillers, and listening to her favorite music of the 50’s, and especially Tom Jones.

She is survived by her children Michael, Peter, Erik and his wife Salina. She has four Grandchildren: Jonathan, Calla, Eden and Issak.  She is also survived by beloved sisters Joan and Anne. 

She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years Manfred, parents George and Alice Williams. As well as brothers Michael, George and Eddie.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
