Dolores Ryan

Dolores Marguerite Ryan of New Rochelle, NY passed away on Monday, May 2nd. She was 90 years old. Dolores was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to John and Mary Mannix. She graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School and went on to train in Nursing at Jersey City Medical Center. Dolores's career would be as a Nurse at Bellevue Medical Center in Manhattan where she touched many lives with her kind and vivacious character.

In 1951 Dolores married Edward Ryan, the couple would live together in Throggs Neck, NY. As their family grew, they both would make the move to Pelham where Dolores raised their four children.

A lover of the Arts, Dolores enjoyed movies, plays and reading. However, her passion was her family and friends. She was never happier than when spending time with friends.

Dolores is predeceased by her husband Edward. She is survived by her children: Edward J. Ryan, Mary Ryan-Waters, Ann Ryan, and Patricia Ryan. She will be lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren: John, Robert and Reilly Waters;
Samuel L. & Carolyn L. Ryan.
