Pelham Manor, NY

Diane T. Neumann, a beloved member of the Pelham Manor community, passed away at the age of 73 on August 2, 2023, in White Plains, NY, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 11, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois. Diane will be remembered not only for her dedication as a Crosswalk Guard for eleven years for the Village of Pelham Manor but also for her unwavering faith as a Eucharistic minister at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church.

Diane's commitment to her community was truly remarkable. As a Crosswalk Guard, she ensured the safety of local residents and their children as they made their way to school. Rain or shine, Diane stood at her post with a smile on her face and a helping hand extended to anyone in need. Her selflessness and dedication earned her the admiration and respect of all who crossed paths with her. One of Diane's proudest accomplishments was also her involvement in PGA Tournaments and brought her great joy in life.

In addition to her community involvement, Diane pursued her passion for spirituality as a Eucharistic minister at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church. Her deep faith was evident in every aspect of her life as she served others with love and compassion during Mass.

Diane received her education from Winchester High School in Winchester, MA, and further pursued her master’s degree at Dunbarton College in Washington DC. These educational foundations helped shape Diane into the intelligent woman she was known to be.

Outside of work and church duties, Diane cherished spending time with her family. She was a caring and loving aunt who showered affection upon her seven nieces and three nephews. She adored them dearly and relished every moment spent creating precious memories together.

Diane will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her surviving family members and friends. She is survived by her brother George J Neumann III, sister Lorry Jackson, nephews Ronald A. Nastasi Jr. (Margie), Chris Nastasi (Nicole), Brian Nastasi (Nancy), and nieces Wendy Dulac (Mark), Karen Vanavery (Dan), Shannon Neumann, Ashley Neumann, Megan Vander Horst (Joel), Heather Neumann, Kelsey Neumann, and sister in law Barbara Neumann. Additionally, she leaves behind many great nieces and nephews whose lives she touched with love and warmth.

Diane's presence will forever be felt within the community she served.  May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she made a significant impact on the lives of so many.
