Diane Lennox

Diane Lennox (nee Letizia) of Tuckahoe, NY passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 9th. She was 56 years old. Born in the Bronx to Joseph and Elsie Letizia, Diane grew up one of four children in a loving traditional household in Pelham Manor, NY. She attended Prospect Hill Elementary School and Pelham Memorial High School. After high school Diane went to the well-known Berkeley Business School in White Plains. After graduating from Berkeley, Diane began a career working in the Insurance Industry. She loved her job and was extremely hard working. Throughout her career she held positions in top insurance companies such as Chubb, CNA and Nationwide.

A fantastic cook, Diane loved cooking and caring for others. She found someone to cook and care for when she met Greg Lennox. The two dated and married in 1993.

A love of travel and in particular cruises found Diane setting sail twice a year. Her favorite destinations included the Caribbean and the Virgin Islands. There she would relax and spend time with her friends and family. Family was very important to Diane and she treasured them. She was caring and funny and had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews.

Diane is survived by her husband, Greg; her mother, Elsie Letizia; her sisters: Debbie (Bill) Boucher and Joane (Tony) Mamone and her brother Joe (Teresa). She will be lovingly remembered as "Aunt Annie" by her 4 nephews and 6 nieces.

A celebration of Diane's life will be held on Monday, February 13th at Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham, NY from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day, Tuesday, February 14th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 559 Pelham Manor Road, Pelham Manor, NY at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Yonkers, NY.
