Without word of warning Daniel "Danny" McGee of Queens, NY formerly of Drumlish, Co. Longford passed away on November 22, 2018. He was 21 years old.
Danny was born in Queens, NY to Don and Colleen McGee. He was the oldest of three children. At the age of four Danny would move back to his family home in Drumlish, Co. Longford, where he attended St Mary's Primary School and Moyne Secondary School. Danny briefly attended the National University of Ireland in Galway where he studied towards a BA. He would later move back to NY to seek opportunity.
Daniel loved all things sports, especially soccer and Gaelic football. While in Ireland he played for Fr. Manning Gael's Gaelic Football Club. He was a great athlete and a hard worker.
Daniel will be remembered as dynamic, the life of the party, entertaining and passionate about everything he did. He was a true gentleman and would light up any room he walked into.
Daniel is survived by his parents Don & Colleen McGee, his siblings Brian & Eva, his extended family and a large circle of friends. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
Daniel's remains will be repatriated home to Drumlish, Co. Longford where a funeral Mass and Burial will take place. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Pelham Funeral Home.
