Carla is survived by her husband, Will Cavanagh and Will's children. Kaitlyn and Conor McCormick-Cavanagh, who shared a special relationship with Carla. She is survived by her father, Dr. Albert L. Marino; her brother, Albert J. Marino; her sister, Elaine Marino; her sister and brother-in-law, Diane Marino and Edward Eiler and their children, Matthew and Nicolas, all of whom she cherished. She is survived by her Marino and Garri uncles and cousins and her Risi cousins; and her Eiler, Cavanagh and McCormick in-laws. All knew and felt Carla's warmth, love and affection for them. Carla was predeceased by her mother Adeline, who died in 1986, and her cherished companion-dog Rylie.

Carla radiated positive energy. She was always cheerful and upbeat and did everything with zest and enthusiasm. She saw each day as a new opportunity and truly enjoyed life's special moments. She lived with a graceful determination to the very end and treasured the many friendships she made along the way. She was a good and beautiful person! The family wishes to thank Dr. Peter Dottino and Dr. Ann Marie Beddoe and their entire staff for the warm support they gave Carla during her long illness. Special thanks also to Carla's colleagues at Wenick & Finger for their special support. Finally, Carla always talked about all the positive support and energy she received from her many friends in Pelham and elsewhere. Thank you!
