Barbara Emily DiPasquale

Barbara Emily Di Pasquale of Manhattan, New York passed away on March 24th 2022. She was 88 years old. Born in Greenwich Village to Henry and Theresa Gillen where she was fond of Streets such as Carmine and Bleecker where her and her brother Ronnie grew up.  Barbara attended Our Lady of Pompeii School. After graduating from High School she would meet her husband of 24 years; Mario DiPasquale. They would live in the Lower East Sides community of Stuyvesant Town where they would raise their two children Michael and John. 

Barbara was a devout Catholic, was a great cook and loved food shopping. She also loved to spend time with family especially her Aunts when they were alive. 

Barbara will be remembered as a lady who was honest and told things as it was. She treated her family’s dog Lexington like a grand-child. She was very loving and would do anything to help someone in need. 

Barbara is survived by her children; Michael and John (Julie) DiPasquale. Her brother Ronald Gillen and her grand-dog Lexington. She will be missed by many cousins, nephews,  nieces and everyone who knew her. She is predeceased by her husband Mario DiPasquale.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham New York on Monday March 28th from 9-10:30am. A Funeral Mass will take place at St Catharine’s Church located at 25 Second Avenue, Pelham, New York on Monday March 28th at 11:00am.
