Alfred J. Carpanzano "Cappy" A resident of Pelham for 45 years passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 1st 2015. He was 70 years old. Alfred was born in New Rochelle to Peter and Angelina (Cairo) Carpanzano. He graduated from New Rochelle High School before going to work as a tool and die maker. He spent many years working for Zip Pak in Rockland County before retiring 5 years ago.
Alfred is Survived by his 3 Daughters; Adele and her husband Marvin Jones, Dawn Marie and her husband Anthony Lanza, MaryBeth and her husband Michael Fata, Alfred is also survived by his sister Marie (Pat) Morett, and his 6 Grand Children.
His brothers Salvatore, Patsy and Joseph predeceased him.
A celebration of Alfred's life will be held Thursday September 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Pelham Funeral Home 64 Lincoln Ave Pelham NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday September 4th at St Josephs Church 280 Washington Ave in New Rochelle. Internment will be at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye New York.
