Alex Neal

March 14, 1985 — July 27, 2025

Bronx

Alex Carmine Neal, beloved son, brother, uncle, fiancée, cousin, and friend, passed away on Sunday July 27, 2025.

A lifelong New Yorker, Alex’s passion for the Rangers was only surpassed by his love of music. Born in Brooklyn, NY on March 14, 1985, Alex’s eclectic musical taste spanned the decades and was successfully passed on to his siblings, cousins, and nephews. Alex and his mother, Frances Florentino, loved to go to concerts together, with special favorites being Eddie Vedder solo at the Beacon Theater, Dion DiMucci and Ronnie Spector at the Apollo, and the Rolling Stones at Madison Square Garden, to name only a few. Alex and fiancé, Christine Arriaga, were pet parents to their beloved pitty, Alabama, who loved nothing more than laying starfish style on her daddy’s chest. Besides being a loving dog dad, Alex embodied the term “funcle” to his four nephews: Luke and Dylan DiFilippi and Elliot and Christopher Neal.

He will be missed by his older siblings, Kimberly & Sergio DiFilippi and Shaun & Larisa Neal, and stepfather, Roger Imperial.

A viewing will be held Thursday, July 31st at Pelham Funeral Home (64 Lincoln Ave, Pelham, NY 10803) from 3-8pm. There will be a funeral mass Friday, August 1st at Holy Name of Jesus Church (70 Petersville Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10801) at 10:30am.
